Description
Solitude is something that resonates with all of us, whether we like it or not. Philosophers and psychologists have spent ages studying how we respond to it. My thesis paintings capture my own feelings and reflections on solitude.
In my art, I often depict myself as a lone figure in urban settings. Through the way I compose these scenes and the colors I choose, I aim to capture those quiet moments of introspection, contemplation, and above all, hope for humankind. Experiencing solitude helps me to understand life and to see many benefits from being alone. I hope by viewing my paintings, viewers will come to similar conclusions.
